I have become a true farm girl!  Many of my friends would find this difficult to believe because I love clothes, jewelry, and being girlie.  But, there's another side of me that many of them do not see and it is my love for nature, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.  I came home from work and found my husband painting field posts for our yard.  We are having a huge house warming party so we are avidly working to get ready for everyone.  I jumped in and we painted black posts from 5 until 9.  I was literally painting well after dusk with the car headlights as my own source of light.  It made me start laughing to myself because it occurred to me that a few years ago I would never have envisioned the life of a farm girl.  But, I LOVE it.  I'm sure you are wondering why I am telling you about this or what this has to do with weight loss?.  I really believe that your state of mind affects your weight.  I have mentioned in previous posts the power of stress and the damage it does to your body.  Being outside listening to my dogs play and laughing with my husband while we painted really relaxed me.  I think I really needed this after being down on myself the night before.  Changing my attitude is the first step to feeling better.  Oh!  and I am making an appointment with my consultant at JC.  I think checking in with her will help me feel back on track.  

Weight - 118.0 lbs.

Exercise - Does 4 hours of manual labor count?





Breakfast - 

3/4 cup Bran cereal


1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

2 tbsp. natural hummus

1/2 onion pita


6 oz. fat-free yogurt

sugar-free jello

Snack - 


Dinner - 

Buitoni's three cheese tortellin

spray butter and yellow pepper

Grilled asparagus with 2 tbsp. light Balsamic and 1 oz. fat-free feta-cheese

Snack - 

Jenny Craig S'mores Bar
