Today I worked on the farm painting posts and filling in ditches with mud.  It wasn't that difficult but it was a lot of hours exerting energy.  My consultant advised me to pay attention to how I feel on these days.  She's concerned that with the manual labor on the farm I may not be getting enough calories, which is why I've been gaining weight.  My body is choosing to hold onto these calories and store them as fat because it is confused about when the next meal may be since I'm using up my calories so quickly.  This makes complete sense to me and actually at first I thought things were fine.  More exercise means eating more calories and that freaks me out.  But, I've felt light-headed and dizzy off and on all day.  After I finished working on the farm I went shopping for a Halloween costume.  I felt sluggish, low-energy, and a little sick to my stomach. Usually I would think that means I'm dehydrated but I've been very aware of my water consumption - especially the past few days.  I'm thinking that I may have felt this way because I didn't eat enough calories with all the work I had done.  I'm going to continue monitoring how I feel this week combined with my exercise and see how I feel.  I hope you all had a good weekend!

Weight - 119.4 lbs.

Exercise - 3 hours manual labor






Breakfast - 

1 Fiber One Cinnamon Apple Muffin


1 cup fat-free organic milk

Snack - 

Jenny Craig Peanut Butter Vitamin Bar

Lunch - 

2 tbsp. hummus

1/2 whole wheat pita

Asparagus with 4 squirts Spray Butter

sugar-free jello

Snack - 


Dinner - 

1 cup chili

(2 oz. laura's lean beef, 1/4 cup kidney beans, 1 can reduced sodium tomatoes, 1 bottle reduced sodium V8, 2 oz. whole wheat pasta)

Salad (mixed greens, tomatoes, croutons)

2 tbsp. light southwestern ranch

Snack - 

1 cup sugar-free hot chocolate

100 calorie pack
