Today I chatted with my consultant from JC.  I told her how on Sunday I was doing manual labor on the farm for three hours.  I monitored my energy level and was really shaky and weak.  I almost felt sick to my stomach from being so shaky.  I think being out doing yard work for so long really depleted my calories.  I was advised on days when I was going to work out for over an hour or doing manual labor for several hours to add another yogurt AND an additional fruit.  

 Watch your energy level when you're working out for an extended amount of time.  You don't want your body to go into starvation mode and store your calories as fat for a later use.  That would completely defeat the purpose of your intense workout.  

My consultant and I are stumped as to why I'm not dropping weight like crazy being as strict as I've been the past two weeks.  My goal is to continue to not drink alcohol for the next three weeks as well as try to at least lose a half a pound.  I'm going to commit to four days of 30 mins. or more cardio instead of manual labor this week.  What were your goals?  Did you reach them?  Did you even set them?  There is no way to motivate and push yourself if you're not setting goals.  Good luck!  I'm going to try and stay positive and hope my goals help me reach success next Thursday!

1/4 cup Break-free egg wrapped in a low-car tortilla with green pepper and mushroom


small Starbucks fat-free sugar free latte

Lunch - 

JC Turkey Burger (you could make your own with 2 oz. turkey burger on small whole wheat bun)

Cucumber with fat-free ranch

sugar-free jello

fat-free yogurt

Snack - 


Dinner -

2 oz. salmon over 2 oz. whole wheat rice with onions, peppers, and zucchini sauteed in skillet

Salad (mixed greens, tomatoes)

2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack - 

90 cal. Healthy Choice Fudge Bar
