I had my phone consultation with my consultant today.  It went better than it's gone in awhile.  I'm down a pound from last week and that in itself is a terrific feat.  Is it where I want to be - no but I will take what I can get.  I told her how much Valerie's book has been inspiring me.  The word hope has new meaning for me.  Valerie's right, with hope brings faith and faith requires strength and heart.  I know it sounds corny, but I'm going to start believing in myself that I can reach my goal.  I think if I keep talking positively it will help me reach the light at the end of the tunnel.  I can only "control" so much and if I'm eating healthy and working out I know I'm making the right choices and I have to have faith the rest will fall into place.  The holidays can be difficult without motivation and strength.  I'm going to need it in the months/weeks that follow and that means I need to start believing in my power live a healthy lifestyle starting now.  I think one of my largest weaknesses is social events where all my friends are drinking.  I don't need alcohol to have fun and if my friends think I do then what kind of friends are they anyway?  I want to surround myself with positivity and if they can't help me reach my goal and cheer me on then clearly I need some space.  I can and will do this - I know I sound like some kind of annoying cheerleader but, hey, if I can't pump up myself and have the conviction to do this then what the heck am I doing blogging about weight loss?!


Breakfast -

2 Kashi Blueberry Waffles

1/4 cup sugar-free syrup


1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch -

Jenny Craig Turkey Panini (hey, I have conferences tonight so it was easier to pack two frozen meals (dinner included)

Carrots with fat-free ranch

sugar-free jello

fat-free yogurt

Snack -


Dinner -

Light Caesar Salad Kit (yep, no joke, I eat the ENTIRE bag)

Jenny Craig Mac & Cheese

Snack -

1 cup sugar-free hot chocolate

100 calorie pack
