Here's my advice for the holiday's...don't stress, enjoy yourself, and just do the best that you can. The holiday's are always difficulty to "stay on the band wagon." The amount of holiday parties and holiday meals can be insurmountable. You can only do what you can do. Workout longer and more than you usually would to counteract all the fattening food. Pick and choose foods that are more important to you than others. For example, this Thanksgiving stuffing is one of my favorite side dishes (haha, homemade, that is!). I seem to have mashed potatoes a lot more frequently than stuffing. I would rather do a small serving of stuffing and sweet potatoes than I would mashed. Take small portions and fill up on LOTS of veggies. This will help you stay away from difficult temptations. I actually had a Thanksgiving lunch today with family and it went amazingly well!
