 Sorry I am a day late:  I had a late doctor's appointment and was too exhausted afterwards to blog!  Forgive me!

I have severe endometriosis and on Friday the pain started - so badly that I broke out into a hot sweat, curled up into the fetal position, was nauseous while I rocked.  I went to see a specialist yesterday who actually recommended I try acupuncture for the pain instead of taking pain pills.  At first I was skeptical because my Dad had had it several times for horrific back pain and it didn't work - not to mention it is expensive!  However, the pain has been so awful that I have been having episodes up to six times a day and about two a night.  My body is physically exhausted from feeling like I am in a "war zone" all day.  My husband has had to drive me to and from school because I'm so worried I'll have an attack while driving.  After seeing the specialist I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with the acupuncturist for later that night.  I thought, "What do I have to lose?  I'm in so much pain that I'm pretty much willing to try anything!"  It took almost two hours by the time we were finished.  I couldn't feel the needles and the stress just seemed to leave my body.  If it didn't work then at least I was practicing my deep breathing tactics mixed with calming music for a little bit!  But, keep your fingers crossed...I didn't have any pain and slept through the night!  I'm really hoping this will work and help me to manage my pain.

2 Kashi Waffles with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup


1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

1 flatbread Italian tortilla with 1 slice fat-free bologna

cherry tomatoes

fat-free yogurt

sugar-free jello

Snack - 

2 clementine's

Dinner - 


Asian Buffet -

cooked vegetables (broccoli, onion, mushrooms)

Approximately 2 oz. chicken

Salad with tomatoes and cucumbers

Snack - 

Jenny Craig Cookies n' Cream Cheesecake
