Why is it important for weekly weigh-ins?  Weekly weigh-in's are important to hold you accountable.  They allow you to evaluate what you did well and what you need to improve on for the week.  It also keeps you from becoming too obsessive by weighing yourself everyday.  I'll admit, sticking to this ideology is extremely difficult for me.  I am obsessive about knowing every little pound I lose or gain.  However, recently I've become better at trying to weigh myself every Thursday.  At least I have maintained for the past three weeks.  Be happy for your little successes because losing all the weight certainly doesn't happen overnight.
