Today my Dad is having surgery. This is his fifth back surgery and he will be getting incisions on his neck and lower back. He's had fusions in the past and I guess there's the potential after several years for the next disc up from the fusion to become bulged. The pain has become so intense that the past few weeks has hardly been able to walk. The pain shoots into his feet and he has to wear flip flops so that his feet are not constricted in regular shoes. I hate seeing my Dad in pain and with each surgery you can't help but worry. He goes in this afternoon - please keep him in your prayers.
