4/18/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Sunday

Unfortunately my Dad is still in excruciating pain - but at least the swollen abdomen has gone down a little bit and he's able to eat a little now.  Hopefully day by day he will start to feel a little better.  I just hope this surgery gives him some relief.  It's hard after ten years of off and on pain and surgeries to not become a little negative.  I'm trying to stay positive for my Dad - but sometimes it is difficult.  Haha truth be told, these pregnancy hormones certainly don't help matters!  The mere sight of all the pain he is in makes me burst into tears (which is not usually like me).  Typically I'm the strong one but I guess that is uncontrollable these days.  I'm going to keep praying for a speedy recovery and maybe just maybe he'll get there.
