5/15/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Saturday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 17. May 2013 09:15

Well, I made a commitment to be stress free this weekend and I think I stuck to it.  Our friends came over for a cookout and it was so nice to just sit and laugh.  I didn't worry about work nor did I worry about familial stress.  I did get to vent a little bit which I think was good for me to get off my chest and now I want to move on it from it.  It's over and done with and I'm not going to harbor anger and resentment towards people.  I truly feel this breeds negativity and a nasty disposition.  I want people to enjoy being around me; not hear me filled with anger and complaints all the time.  It was a beautiful day (perfect for the swimming we did) and the evening was the perfect temperature for a bonfire.  This past week actually made me see how lucky I am.  I have an amazing husband and incredible friends with a wonderful bundle of joy on the way.  What more could I ask for?!  Lol, I know you're probably gagging right now as you read this but I can't help it.  I'm happy and thankful.
