7/1/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

Yesterday I mentioned my dog's trip to the emergency vet. I left off with many of you wondering how this relates to health. Now of course, my story relates to pregnancy and yet other interesting and "fun" symptoms. In the past few weeks I have noticed if I am not in a "cool" environment at night I start feeling sick to my stomach. Being at the vet the other night was no different. It was hot in the office and I had to go wait in the car with the air-conditioning running because I started to get full-blown sick from being overheated. I guess since your body temperature goes up at night combined with another 2 pound human being inside you the body just gets way too hot. This bums me out because for four years now in August I go to the Rascal Flats concert. Our arena is all outside. I was really thinking if I got seats this year at 8 1/2 months pregnant it would be no problem. But, unfortunately I'm thinking I'll be too hot because feeling like I'm going to throw up is no picnic!
