It's crazy how opinionated people get about things pertaining to pregnancy! I've mentioned that I've already felt the wrath of what I'm doing regarding breast feeding. But, wow, it's pretty much anything that gets people fired up. Here's what I mean: someone in my family was asking about whether we were going to be using a bassinet in our room. The way our house it set up our room is literally right next to the nursery. There's really no need to have a bassinet in our room. I'm most likely not breast feeding because I've had a reduction and typically you can't afterwards. On top of it, many of my friends who are new moms have said that when the bassinet was in their room they couldn't sleep because any little noise the baby made had them up. I don't know why but neither my husband nor I feel that it is necessary. This family member jumped on us saying that we had no idea yet and we would end up buying one ourselves. She kept going on and on about how it's a must and we really have no idea until he's here. Well, yeah, that's usually how it works. It's a learning process and honestly people, it's baby preference anyway. Who knows what my baby will and will not like?! For one baby he loves the pack n' play and another baby I know hates it. All my husband and I can do is learn, and honestly, if we really feel we need a bassinet - we'll buy one later. THURSDAY Breakfast - Egg beater, turkey sausage, and 1 pancake with sugar-free syrup Nectarine 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 1/2 whole wheat pita, 2 tbsp. hummus, cucumber, tomatoes Fat-free yogurt Snack - 3/4 strawberries Dinner - 2 oz. whole wheat pasta, 1/2 cup chili dog sauce, 1/4 cup fat-free cheese Brussel Sprouts with 1 tbsp. margarine Snack - 100 calorie pack
