8/3/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Tuesday

As if I couldn't get any bigger...my stomach gets bigger. I know, I know, I still have 9 more weeks to go. But, geez, I feel like the Goodyear Blimp as it is - it is just so hard to imagine this belly could stretch even more. Heading into the 8th month I've decided months 6 and 7 were probably the best. I am starting to become extremely uncomfortable. I think what bums me out more than anything is the lack of energy. Have you ever had mono? That's what it reminds me of; which makes me so thankful I've spent a nice portion of the pregnancy on summer break. Just heading to the grocery store had me so exhausted the rest of the day that I pretty much laid around, did a few chores, and laid around some more. I'm wondering how I will go back to school on my last month of the pregnancy - if anything I'll be more exhausted and uncomfortable. I wonder even more how women work full-time and are pregnant. There have got to be other women that are medical freaks like me that have had a ton of symptoms...I guess they either suck it up or take off. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can just suck it up for one month before the baby is born. Oh the joys of pregnancy! TUESDAY Breakfast - 100 cal English Muffin, 1/4 cup Break-free egg, Morning Star Veggie Sausage 3/4 cup strawberries 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - DINED OUT Turkey flatbread with lettuce, tomato, and mustard Fat-free yogurt Dinner - 2 oz. grilled Laura's Lean Beef 1 corn on the cob with 1 tbsp. margarine Snack - Skinny Cow
