There are a lot of things I was unaware of before becoming pregnant. Take bedding in the crib for example, bumpers are frowned upon now a days. My friend who recently had a baby took a tour of the hospital the month before she was to deliver and they told her not to have bumpers in the crib. She had already bought one and placed it inside the crib. So don't waste your money if you're going to follow the recommendation of the hospital. Another thing I was unaware of (although I am sure I sound ignorant for even admitting it) is washing EVERYTHING in preparation for the baby. I mean common sense says to wash the clothes but for some reason until my friend said something, I hadn't even thought about all the toys. Uhhh duh, babies put everything in their mouths. There's just so much to think about that it didn't occur to me! TUESDAY Breakfast - 2 Kashi Waffles with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup Banana 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 2 slices whole wheat, fat-free mayo, lettuce, tomato, and slice of low-fat cheddar cheese Fat-free yogurt Snack - Peach Dinner - 1 small slice of Light Lasagna (made with low-fat mozzarella and turkey burger) Caesar Salad with 2 tbsp. light dressing Snack - 100 cal pack
