8/26/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

I was at 33 weeks on Sunday. Currently my baby is gaining about 1/2 a pound a week. He could grow up to another full inch this week; I mean, really, where does he have to go? I feel so inflated that I'm going to pop already! When he moves it actually hurts because he's so big. It's interesting to me because the site, "Week by Week; What to Expect," has mentioned that the baby has tapped out the supply of amniotic fluid. He's so big there's just no more fluid movements for him inside the amniotic sac. This is why those kicks and movements feel so sharp that I can practically see his body parts emerging out of my belly! It also becomes increasingly difficult to sleep for most women (Amen to that!) due to several bathroom breaks a night, horrible leg cramps, and heartburn. Luckily I haven't experienced much of the heartburn during the night yet! Many women also have a popped belly button by now...not me! Whooo! I've still got a little depth...haha not much, but some. It's the little things that are exciting during this uncomfortable time, isn't it? THURSDAY Breakfast - 1 serving of Fiber One Muffins Banana 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 2 oz. whole wheat pasta, broccoli, and 1/4 cup fat-free cheese Fat-free yogurt Snack - Plum Dinner - 3.5 oz. grilled salmon 1 cup mashed potatoes Asparagus with 2 tbsp. balsamic and parmesan sprinkled on top Dinner - Skinny Cow
