9/28/14 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Tuesday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 29. September 2013 16:46

Today I went on my normal walk with the dogs after school.  Halfway through the walk I started having terrible pain in my lower back.  That should have been my indication that later in the evening I was going to have some pretty painful Braxton-Hicks.  At about 8 o'clock I was getting the contractions, large ones about every 30 minutes and small ones every couple of minutes.  My husband, of course, was freaking out that we should call the doctor but I knew that I needed to have the large ones about every 4-5 minutes for an hour.  The pain was not only in my pelvic area but in the small of my back which felt excruciating.  I say BRING ON THE PAIN!  My doctor said that the more contractions I have the more likely that I am dilating.  13 days and counting until my due date...
