10/30/13- Paula's Eating/Exercise Journal: Saturday

by Paula (Clean Eating Expert) 31. October 2013 10:18

Yesterday, my little kids, my husband, and I went to a Halloween party at our club. It was freeezing, but we bundled up and had a blast.  I love halloween and the kids looked great in their costumes. I started off doing really well with my eating plan at the party.  They had a huge party food bar with hamburgers, tater tots, mac n cheese, chicken breast and a salad bar.  Ok, it was comfort food heaven!!  I did well in that I filled my plate with greens, added a small grilled chicken breast and a small amount of a balsamic dressing...then the wheels fell off the wagon after dealing with 4 kids under 9 years of age and all the sugar buzz from the event candy, and roasted marshmallows that had been partaken in. i ATE 3 BIG COOKIES.  Man, they tasted good...I knew it was bad...I didn't stop.

There you go.  Its a new day tomorrow, where I feel confident that I will make better food choices.  I'm REALLY hoping that I make healthy choices the night of Halloween.  IT'S A CHALLENGE AT THIS HOLIDAY!!!!

I am going back on the eating plan from 2 weeks ago for a couple of days.  I feel very 'safe' on this eating plan since everything is spelled out for me.  It's a crutch but, for right now, it makes me feel good.
