That Issue No One Talks About: Part 1-
One thing about getting older that I have not enjoyed us a subject few people EVER want to share…incontinence. Yup…I said it.
When I was 42 years old, I realized that something was changing internally, and I wanted to know why. It was explained by an OBGYN surgeon that for me, it began because I had three natural child births, and that God made me with weak muscle connections internally. My bladder and urethra were falling. Are you kidding me? Oh, an d it will cost $6000 to do the test that I must have to confirm if my urethra was falling before the major surgery to tack up the bladder could be done. This just gets better and better! At the time, I was divorced and didn’t have the money. What to do? Start saving your pennies. Meanwhile, if I had to urinate, get the *%#! out of my way or…don’t ask. Couldn’t use tampons (t.m.i)…
Tomorrow, I’ll tell you how it turned out and some other examples of ‘please don’t speak about that’ medical conditions you should know about.
