My friend is registering for baby gifts because her shower is coming up in March.  It made me reflect on some things that I "had" to have.  Now what I "had" to have is very different from what some of my friends "had" to have.  Why is this?  Every baby is completely different with what they prefer - just like us.  But, hearing what has helped others certainly is helpful when you have never had a baby and don't know what's out there:

  • Ventaire Playtex Bottles (best bottle, in my opinion, that there is!  takes away as much gas as possible!)
  • Halo Sleep Sack
  • Socks (especially if you have your baby in fall/winter months; but eventually no matter when you have your baby, you'll need socks)
  • clothes bought that actually apply to the time-frame when you're baby most likely will need those clothes (ex. if your baby is 4 mo. old for Halloween don't buy a 9 mo. old outfit for Halloween)
  • Burp cover that ties to crib for when they spit up/puke in the middle of the night; then you don't have to change the sheets everytime
  • some kind of machine/stuffed animal that does comforting noises such as heart beat, white noise, nature, etc.
  • toys for the bath that change color if the water is too hot
  • liquid baby formula; not just powder - liquid is much easier at home
  • small baby tub for when they are newborns; baby tub seat when they are 4 mo. and older
  • pink diaper rash (can only get it over the counter at select CVS pharmacies)  baby butt cream and desitin are good for mild diaper rash but this stuff is amazing
  • tons and tons of jammies with "footies"
  • tons of books
  • rings; 1st toy my baby was interested in and many other baby's i've seen as well

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Snack - 

JC Oatmeal Raisin Anytime Bar

Lunch - 

JC Pesto Pizza


Snack - 


Dinner - 

JC Mac & Cheese

Salad (mixed greens, peppers, mushrooms, green onion) 2 tbsp. light southwest ranch

Snack - 

JC Cheese Curls
