4/16/15 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Wednesday

So I didn't tell you what I did over the weekend.  My spring break is next week and our family pool is open and heated.  I thought maybe I would see how my son likes the pool while I'm off.  That however would require a swimsuit.  Ugh.  The thought of putting one on while I'm still not at my goal weight is frustrating.  It looks like another season of clothes that will not fit.  I don't think I'll be back in a size 0 by the time summer hits...feel free to hit me now.  I know how shallow that sounds.  I should be grateful for the size I am right now.  I was at about this size in high school and never would have dreamt that I would fit into a 0.  It's really some sick longing for being the size all my friends were and I never could be; I need to get over this, I know.  Since my weight loss has been going at a snail's pace I need to dress in appropriate swimwear.  I can't seem to get rid of the weight from the lower belly region, hips, and thighs (lol, basically all the places the baby weight went to as well as from giving birth!).  So, I ended up buying a little black skirt with a cute top that covers my belly.  Basically the exact same kind of suit I wore when I was pregnant.  I always associated skirts and tankini tops as something my Mom would buy (and she owns!) - does this mean I'm getting old?  There are some cute one pieces I'll have to check out though...
