Today I lost another pound.  Hooray!  My consultant told me today that the number 1 question that she's asked when people walk in her office and see my article and/or poster is why I'm back.  They are constantly asking her, "Ok, so she hit her goal weight.  She must have "fallen off the wagon" if she's back, right?"  To which my consultant responds, "She just had a baby several months ago and is working off the 42 pounds she gained while pregnant."  When she tells them I was on maintenance for two years and kept it off I think they're more open-minded about sticking with the program.  In fact, I was actually able to eat, what felt like, was a little more food than JC provided based on the serving sizes.  I think the largest complaint about my diet when I was on maintenance, and even now, is that I never cheat and it's not realistic.  It is about what you want more...to lose weight or eat that piece of chocolate cake.  Save the cakea for special occasions.  There are times to splurge but they're supposed to be reserved for times that are seldom.  For example, I said to my consultant last night, I always stick to the rules.  I rarely even exchange my fat for a glass of wine...which is why I decided tomorrow night I would treat myself to.  Usually consultants would probably say, "Shouldn't you save that for special circumstances so you can achieve your goal?"  But, the positive aspect to my consultant knowing me well is that she truly knows I never cheat.  Even when we go out I eat a salad and then have my Jenny meal later.  Sometimes we all need to indulge - this is what will keep you from binging on something later...

JC Cheeseburger with mustard

Salad no dressing

Dinner -

JC Chicken Parmesan

Salad (mixed greens, peppers, tomatoes) 2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack -

JC Chocolate Chip Snack Bar
