My husband's birthday is quickly approaching.  He has reached his goal weight with Jenny Craig and wants to be careful with his food choices on maintenance.  I would be the first to say that your birthday is the one day you should stray from your diet program and enjoy what you want.  But, I also understand that it's hard work to get to your goal weight and you don't want to screw it up by one birthday meal.  I was shocked, my husband decided to NOT do a chocolate cake this year.  Anything chocolate is his favorite.  Instead, he opted to go with the cake I've been requesting for my birthday for the past few years: angel food cake with berries and whipped cream.  It may not sound like much but if you've been sticking to a diet plan you'll agree with me that this tastes like heaven.  I go one step further and get sugar-free angel food (which is no fat), fresh berries (which becomes 1 of my 2 fruits for the day), and fat-free whipped cream.  Yum!  It's low-fat and you still feel like you've "cheated" and let yourself have a birthday treat.  I'm so proud of my hubby!

JC Lasagna

Salad (mixed greens, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeno's) 2 tbsp. light ranch

JC Chocolate Chip Cookie
