Today is my husband's 30th birthday.  Gosh, when we were kids 30 sounded old.  I can't believe how fast time has flown by.  I ended up taking my husband to Brown County, Indiana.  If you live in or around the Cincinnati area and are looking for something fairly inexpensive with a lot to do I highly suggest it.  It's a little artsy community and if you stay in the town you can walk everywhere.  My husband and I stayed at the Brown County Inn but I suggest one of the B&B's in town or the Lodge or Cabin in Brown County State Park.  We spent most of our time in the State Park because it's so gorgeous.  The food is to die for so if you're going to enjoy country cooking I suggest you work it off by doing some major hiking or mountain biking in the State Park.  We had an absolute blast.  I definitely feel revitalized.  We went on 2 hour hikes both Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday we also went horseback riding on the trails in the park.  Between all of this activity and walking around the town and shopping I was starving.  My diet is based on 1200 calories but if you're doing a lot of exercise this isn't the right diet.  You need to make sure you add in another cup of milk and another fruit to help satiate you.  I stuck to my Jenny meals for breakfast and lunch and we did dinners out.  Two places I suggest if you ever go to Brown County are Big Woods Brewery and just outside of Bloomington - The Scenic View.  Both places had incredible vegetarian dishes if you're in to that sort of thing.  My husband got fish and a burger and loved both of those as well.  Again, I urge all new moms that read my blog to please do a weekend get-away.  The time with your spouse will strengthen your marriage and make you a better mom because you're refreshed.
