7/15/15 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Monday

I have decided to not bring much Jenny food down with me and go on my own.  I'm so close to my goal weight of 125 and I know the "ins and outs" of maintenance so my consultant decided this would be a good test run.  My body finally seems to be handling sodium much better.  Wow, it took 8 months for my hormones to level out after having a baby.  This is shocking to me!  I am sticking to a lot of organic foods this week, Morning Star Veggie Sausages, Gardenburgers, milk, veggie dogs, etc.  A lot of organic food is very low in calories, fat, and preservatives.  If I can afford it, I'd like to give my son primarily an organic diet once he switches over to real solids.  Eating healthy is not only important to me but it's important that my family eat healthy too.  We'll see how a week on my own treats me when I weigh in next week...

Breakfast -

  3/4 cup Bran Cereal

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 cup of milk



Lunch -

 Gluten-free Kahiki Egg Roll (130 cal, 4.5 g fat, 510 mg sodium)

1 sweet and sour packet (10 cal, 0 fat, 2 g sugar, 10 mg sodium)


            Cherry tomatoes

              6 oz. yogurt

                sugar-free jello


Snack -



Dinner -



4 grilled shrimp over veggies and rice 

Salad (tomatoes, mushrooms, mixed greens, and croutons)

2 tbsp. light ranch (I brought my own)


Snack -

1 small cup of vanilla frozen yogurt
